We need a qualified teacher for two incredible (and busy) weeks in July. Spark to Connect runs a residential programme for international students — and we're looking for one more brilliant person to join the team.

What we need from you:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Valid enhanced DBS check
  • Full availability 15–31 July (residential)
  • Experience with teenagers — ideally in a residential or international context
  • Someone who brings calm, energy, and genuine care

Qualifications:

  • Teacher qualifications
  • Camp leadership experience, including supervising groups of young people and coordinating daily camp activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust, motivate teenagers, and foster an inclusive, supportive environment.
  • Clear, confident communication skills for leading groups, giving instructions, and liaising with staff and families.
  • Lifeguarding or water-safety skills and certifications (or willingness to obtain them), if activities involve swimming or water-based sessions.
  • Background in education, youth work, coaching, or related fields, with experience facilitating learning or personal development activities.
  • Proven ability to manage risk, follow safeguarding procedures, and prioritize participant safety and well-being.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm and proactive in a fast-paced camp environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., first aid, CPR, safeguarding/child protection) are highly desirable.
