What is the role? As a Residential Childcare Worker you will support our young people with their daily routines. Getting ready for school, prepping for meal times, after school activities and planning social activities too. What you do each day matters and makes a lasting difference, such as:
- Ensuring our children receive the highest level of support
- Supporting senior staff with timely updates
- Promoting individuality NOT a "one size fits all" approach
- Completing and updating care plans regularly, including any additional new requirements or targets
- Being part of a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping
- Building strong, meaningful relationships and providing emotional support
- Planning and joining in fun activities like trips to the park
