As a Residential Childcare Worker you will support our young people with their daily routines. Getting ready for school, prepping for meal times, after school activities and planning social activities too. What you do each day matters and makes a lasting difference, such as:

  • Ensuring our children receive the highest level of support
  • Supporting senior staff with timely updates
  • Promoting individuality NOT a "one size fits all" approach
  • Completing and updating care plans regularly, including any additional new requirements or targets
  • Being part of a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping
  • Building strong, meaningful relationships and providing emotional support
  • Planning and joining in fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects and hobbies

Previous experience is preferred or maybe you have cared for a younger friend or family member. Ability to work towards SSSC qualifications. A UK driving licence is essential to use our company cars. Open to ongoing development and learning with support from your team. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Someone with the desire to take pride in helping others.
