Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering area (Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or similar)
- In‐depth knowledge and understanding of High Voltage Battery architecture, design, simulation and testing
- Experience in Motorsport or High Performance Vehicles and at least two of the following areas: Battery Pack architecture and integration, Battery Modules architecture and integration, Mechanical component design, Heat Transfer and Thermal Management
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to summarize and make clear technical recommendations
- Self‐starter with the ability to work with high level instruction and seek out data and support from other teams
- Team‐oriented individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent English and willingness to learn French

Your Missions:
- Support the creation and execution of technology roadmaps aligned with Spark’s vision and strategy
- Lead benchmark activities and supplier evaluations along with Supply Chain and Quality teams
- Lead the design, development and validation of Battery Packs from concept to production Main responsibilities:
- Cascade system and subsystem level requirements to component level (e.g. mechanical, thermal, environmental, reliability) while ensuring compliance with all safety and homologation standards
- Sizing and integration of all Mechanical components of the Battery Pack and Power Distribution Unit including casing, cooling system, fixing system, etc.
- Build and update BOM through the entire product lifecycle
- Create and develop best practices, technical specifications, 3D models and 2D drawings
- Lead DFMEA and DVP&R to meet all safety, functional, performance and reliability targets
- Apply design best practices (DFM, DFA, tolerance stack‐up analysis, etc.)
- Work closely with the simulation team to continuously increase the representativity of CAE models
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions implementation from concept to production launch
- Prepare engineering release packages for sign off
- Manage subsystem and component suppliers
- Support manufacturing with prototyping, assembly, teardown, etc.
- Support Quality team in root cause analysis, containment/corrective actions identification and implementation
- Support Project team to meet or exceed all targets (technical, quality, cost and delivery)
