We have multiple vacancies available with flexible contracts ranging from 2 to 30 hours per week.
Subjects: Maths, English and Science.
Delivery venues: Students' homes or local libraries.
You will work on a one-to-one basis with secondary-aged learners who require additional support due to Special Educational Needs. The role requires patience, structure, and the ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs.
Essential Requirements- Minimum 1 year of relevant UK experience
- Experience supporting SEN learners at secondary level
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English and/or Science
- Ability to work independently in community-based settings
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) desirable
- Can build trust and positive working relationships quickly
- Deliver structured, engaging, and differentiated lessons
- Maintain high expectations while supporting emotional and academic needs
- Are reliable, organised, and committed to improving outcomes
