We are looking for someone to advise us on creating our own model railway, teaching our learners how to make and operate their own model railway.
We want to use making model railways as a way to teach and develop important skills. Our goal is to create a small layout that can be displayed in our centre and/or cafe in Yeovil.
What volunteers need:
- Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
able2achieve (a2a) supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and related disabilities. We assist individuals in various ways, from developing everyday living skills to attending social events such as concerts. Our mission is “to enable personal achievement and progression by developing essential skills and self-confidence through learning, living, and working”.

Our learners choose how to spend their day and which activities to participate in. We understand the individual needs of our learners through personalized care plans and support them to make informed choices.
