A role for somebody who is passionate about ecology, the environment, and local community strengthening and development, who wants by investment of a small amount of time in applying for different grants to be able to stimulate many meaningful life quality benefits to be experienced by people in small local communities.
The experience of fundraising here on a small scale in each case will rapidly hone the skills of anyone who would wish to be involved in fundraising activities on a bigger scale elsewhere in the future.
Tasks:
- Basic small scale applications to be made for grants that are already identified as being appropriate and available
- Researching and understanding thoroughly the requirements and sought-for outcomes that each funder has
- Making good quality, compelling applications that meet funders\’ every requirement
- Liaise closely when needed with Somerset Community Gardening\’s project creation and budget management teams.
