Warehouse Operative / Assembler (12-Week Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Saltash

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: 12-week fixed term contract with potential for extension

Working Pattern: Includes weekend working

Working with our Warehouse team at our depot in Saltash, you will play a vital role in safely picking and assembling orders to supply our SPAR retail stores across the Southwest.

Do you have?

  • Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Previous pallet / forklift truck driving experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Good timekeeping and a flexible approach to working hours (including weekends)
  • The ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety guidelines, including manual handling

More about the role:

This is an active role in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for:

  • Accurate voice picking and assembling of retailers’ orders, ensuring products are stacked to specified standards
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the working area at all times
  • Working to performance targets and maintaining high standards
