Our SPAR convenience stores are more than just local shops – they are at the heart of the community. As a People Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our business by supporting the delivery of accurate and timely people services, while providing excellent customer service to colleagues across the company.
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic People Co-ordinator to join our friendly People & Learning team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring all people matters are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with organisational policies, procedures, best practice and employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Update and maintain people systems with accurate information;
- Provide input that touches on all aspects of the employee lifecycle;
- Support with recruitment needs, onboarding and contracting;
- Work collaboratively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Liaise and correspond with colleagues across the Company via email, telephone, Teams, letters and face-to-face;
- Exposure to employee relations cases through support of the Regional People Partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels;
- Excellent administration and strong organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail;
- Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Proven HR experience with ability to support and give first line advice;
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or above.
