Retail Assistant – Spar Gwersyllt

We are looking for a polite, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Spar Gwersyllt. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the public, is confident on the tills, and takes pride in keeping the store running smoothly.
About the Role
As a Retail Assistant, you will be the face of our store, making sure every customer has a positive experience. Your role will be varied and fast-paced, and you will work closely with the rest of the team to keep the store operating at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers politely and efficiently at the tills
- Handling Evri parcel collections and drop-offs
- Operating the National Lottery machine
- Replenishing shelves and ensuring stock is well-presented
- Maintaining a clean and tidy store environment
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
What We\’re Looking For:
- Polite, reliable, and friendly personality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not essential
- Flexibility with working hours when required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
