A lovely family based in Islington, London, is looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive Spanish-speaking nanny for a long-term live-out position, caring for their one-year-old daughter. Job details

  • Part-time position (3 days per week), approx. 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM (around 30 hours per week).
  • Preferred schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (flexibility to swap Wednesday for another day if needed).
  • Salary: Open and competitive (DOE).
  • Start date: Late August/Early September.
  • Occasional travel and extra babysitting may be offered (optional and to be discussed with the family).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, loving care at all times.
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (educational and recreational).
  • Support developmental milestones through play and routine.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
  • Assist with daily routines.
  • Carry out light childcare-related housekeeping (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, cleaning up after meals).
  • Maintain clear communication with parents.

Requirements

  • Native Spanish-speaking and fluent in English.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience with children around 1 year old.
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willing to obtain before starting the position).
  • DBS check.
  • At least 2 references.
  • Any other additional childcare training will be desirable.
