Job details
- Part-time position (3 days per week), approx. 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM (around 30 hours per week).
- Preferred schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (flexibility to swap Wednesday for another day if needed).
- Salary: Open and competitive (DOE).
- Start date: Late August/Early September.
- Occasional travel and extra babysitting may be offered (optional and to be discussed with the family).
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care at all times.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (educational and recreational).
- Support developmental milestones through play and routine.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
- Assist with daily routines.
- Carry out light childcare-related housekeeping (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, cleaning up after meals).
- Maintain clear communication with parents.
Requirements
- Native Spanish-speaking and fluent in English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience with children around 1 year old.
- Paediatric First Aid (or willing to obtain before starting the position).
- DBS check.
- At least 2 references.
- Any other additional childcare training will be desirable.
