Role: Multifunctional Registered Nurse at our Mobile Diagnostic and Treatment Centre
Location: This role will be split between Glasgow and Perth. The role covers multiple locations across Scotland spending an estimated 5 to 15 days at each location before supporting the next location. Subject to change depending on uptake/demand in services.
Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.
Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 per year

Joining us as a Multifunctional Registered Nurse at our Mobile Diagnostic and Treatment Centre, you will support our visions and values of safety, integrity, kindness and transparency embedded in our day-to-day care to ensure we deliver the best service possible.
All of SpaMedica’s hospitals inspected by the CQC have been rated as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’. The DTC is a market-leading mobile hospital, consisting of a reception, diagnostic and theatre module, which can be deployed in multiple configurations to support the deployment needs. All equipment and stock needed for both outpatient and clinical activity is held within the DTC.
Work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team on the DTC, completing tasks independently, taking ownership of these from start to completion. With tasks including:
- Conduct pre-assessments for patients referred into SpaMedica.
- Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.
- Administer drugs in accordance with the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines.
- Adhere to The NMC guidelines for record keeping.
- Provide scrub experience for clinical procedures.
- Follow correct procedure for reporting any accidents or incidents.
- Assist the consultant and clinical team in the delivery of all ophthalmic care.
- Lead in the ordering of medication and stock.
- Prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use.
- Hold key mandatory training, such as ILS, fire marshal training, practical manual handling.
