We are seeking a reliable and proactive Building Caretaker to oversee the daily operation, cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of the premises. This role involves opening and closing, carrying out minor repairs, security checks, and general upkeep of facilities to create a safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained environment for all patients and colleagues alike. The Caretaker takes pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation, responds promptly to maintenance issues, and supports the smooth daily operation of the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and lock the building at designated times, ensuring all entry points are secure.
  • Monitor and control access to the premises, including issuing keys/fobs and maintaining access logs.
  • Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing door handles).
  • Oversee cleanliness of communal areas, entrances, and external grounds.
  • Set up rooms for meetings or events, including furniture arrangement and equipment setup.
  • Accept deliveries and distribute post as required.
  • Assist patients with car parking and direction.
  • Escort patients to their appointments for SpaMedica assisting the elderly with wheelchair if required.
  • Greeting visitors to site as well as patients for all clinics as they enter the building.
  • Completing triage and ensuring patients paperwork is completed.
