Role: Clinical Assistant at our Diagnostic Treatment Centre
Location: This role will be split between Glasgow and Perth. The role covers multiple locations across Scotland spending an estimated 5 to 15 days at each location before supporting the next location. Subject to change depending on uptake/demand in services.
Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.
Salary: £26,500 - £30,000 per year

Joining us as a Clinical Assistant at our Diagnostic Treatment Centre, you will support our vision and values of safety, integrity, kindness and transparency, embedded in our day-to-day care to ensure we deliver the best service possible. All of SpaMedica's hospitals inspected by the CQC have been rated as Good or Outstanding. The DTC is a market-leading mobile hospital, consisting of a reception, diagnostic and theatre module. It can be deployed in multiple configurations to support the deployment needs. All equipment and stock needed for both outpatient and clinical activity is held within the DTC.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the running of pre and post-operative clinics for all patients.
- Act as theatre runner in a busy theatre environment.
- Manage all the diagnostic and theatre equipment on a daily basis.
- Assist with stock control, ensuring par levels are maintained and all items are readily available.
- Prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use.
- Ensure the correct storage of all equipment.
- Follow correct procedure for reporting any accidents or incidents.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with GPDR.
- Take an active role in monthly audits and subsequent action plans.
