To support TA career development, Teaching Assistant Responsibility (TAR) allowances have been introduced as an additional salary payment for extra responsibility taken on. TARs are unique to the Trust and are designed to align with Teaching staff who receive a Teaching & Learning Responsibility (TLR) allowance. The level of responsibility will determine the TAR payment and will range from ÂŁ500 to ÂŁ3,500 per annum, potentially equating your salary scale to beyond GLEA 3.9 up to GLEA 6.15.
