- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Use Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools to present business insights.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities from business data.
- Create KPIs and performance metrics to support business objectives.
- Work with data engineers and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Validate data and troubleshoot reporting or data-quality issues.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, and business requirements.
- Support management with ad-hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Knowledge of Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Understanding of data visualization and dashboard development.
- Knowledge of data modelling and ETL concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DAX and Power Query.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
