About the Role

We are seeking a talented NLP Engineer to join our team and help build cutting-edge language technology solutions. In this role, you will research, design, develop, and deploy Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning models that support our product ecosystem. This position is fully remote within the UK and open to candidates across a wide experience range—from enthusiastic graduates to seasoned NLP professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement NLP models and pipelines for text classification, sentiment analysis, entity recognition, summarization, conversational AI, and more.
• Preprocess and analyze large-scale text datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Fine-tune and evaluate transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, GPT, T5) and traditional NLP methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science, engineering, and product management.
• Build scalable, production-ready NLP systems and integrate them into existing software platforms.
• Conduct experimentation, benchmarking, and performance optimization of NLP solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest research in NLP, ML, and LLMs, and contribute to innovation within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing concepts, including tokenization, embeddings, vectorization, language modeling, and evaluation metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Python and relevant NLP/ML libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch, TensorFlow, spaCy, NLTK).
• Experience working with large language models, fine-tuning, or prompt engineering.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and statistical modeling.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building intelligent systems.
• Experience deploying models in production using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices (Docker, CI/CD, model monitoring, APIs).
• Background in linguistics, computational linguistics, AI, data science, or a related field.
• Contributions to open-source NLP or ML projects.
• Previous experience working with generative AI, LLMs, or retrieval-augmented generation.
• Must already have the right to work in the UK(Valid Visa) no visa sponsorship available.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
