Regional Relational Curriculum Partner Spaghetti Bridge is an independent group of specialist schools. We are passionate about providing young people who experience barriers to learning with a dynamic and outcome‑focused education. As we expand our group we are looking to recruit a Regional Relational Curriculum Partner who is passionate about providing meaningful and progressive educational opportunities for young people that have barriers to learning. Our creative, individualised approach to learning is centred around well‑being and skills for independence. From the time our students arrive, we assess their individual interests, passions, and desires to build a project‑based curriculum to meet their needs. In so doing, we ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed. Location: This is a remote/hybrid role requiring regular travel (including occasional overnight stays) to company services across the Group. The postholder will be required to have a level of flexibility to work across the wider group as required. Main purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and support for both Enterprise Learning and Relational Support across all Spaghetti Bridge schools. This includes supporting the delivery, training, and ongoing development of the Enterprise Learning curriculum and pedagogy, working closely with the Education Quality & Outcomes Lead and Curriculum Coordinators to design and implement curriculum workshops, mentoring, CPD, and induction for relevant staff. The role also involves gathering, analysing, and interpreting key data to measure the impact of the curriculum, contributing to research initiatives, and leading the deployment of operational projects related to Enterprise Learning. In parallel, the role plays an integral part in Spaghetti Bridge\’s proactive relational and safeguarding approach, ensuring that students are supported to keep themselves safe and make responsible decisions. The postholder supports the implementation of a group‑wide safeguarding quality assurance cycle and development plan, working with senior leadership and safeguarding teams across the region. This includes regular site visits, monitoring safeguarding systems and facilitating/delivering Learning & Development activities on our relational approach and the relational curriculum. A key focus of the role is fostering a creative and collaborative culture in which staff can flourish, while ensuring that curriculum, relational, and safeguarding practices reflect the ethos and values of Spaghetti Bridge. Regular travel to school sites is required to provide on‑site coaching, mentoring, quality assurance support and professional development delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the quality of curriculum design, including initial assessments, target-setting, and individualised learning plans.
  • Use data to monitor student progress and inform curriculum development at both group and individual levels.
  • Develop and implement robust quality assurance systems aligned with Spaghetti Bridge\’s ethos and methodologies.
  • Support and train staff in SEND, relational, safeguarding, and curriculum strategies, ensuring consistency and high standards across all sites.
  • Lead on CPD development and delivery, including face‑to‑face and online training.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of our Enterprise Learning approach and evidence‑based pedagogical practice. Support the planning and delivery of EHCP provision (Section F), ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Work with SLTs & Safeguarding Leads to quality‑assure and improve safeguarding practices and the PSHE/RSE curriculum.
  • Assist in admissions processes and ensure each school meets the Designated Teacher responsibilities.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning across the group through visits, observations, and data analysis, identifying and addressing skill gaps.
  • Collaborate with school leaders, staff, parents, and external agencies to promote student well‑being and development.
  • Contribute to policy development, compliance, and group‑wide initiatives in line with national and local developments.
  • To work closely with the education staff, including Curriculum Coordinators, teachers, RSLs & TAs to quality assure the following aspects of programme delivery:
  • Assist in the quality assurance across the group that staff plan appropriate activities which adhere to Spaghetti Bridge\’s Enterprise Learning approach, Ofsted\’s Education Inspection Framework, and the Independent School standards.
  • Assist in the understanding and quality assurance of how staff monitor students\’ progress against set targets, including EHCP targets, and plan intervention strategies accordingly where there are identified gaps in learning.
  • Empower and assist the site‑level SLTs to develop new areas of the curriculum and work with the SLT in providing the appropriate curriculum resources.
  • Lead, develop, maintain and measure the impact of the School/Spaghetti Bridge Learning & Development Strategy which includes the following areas of responsibility.
  • Assist in the understanding that staff develop the appropriate levels of skill and knowledge and methods of delivery of the curriculum, including Relational Support, Safeguarding, PSHE, and RHSE curriculum.
  • Collect a strong understanding of the quality of teaching and learning by collating data through visits and observations and track and develop staff in areas where there are gaps in skills and knowledge.
