Are you an experienced learning mentor or teaching assistant with a passion for supporting students with SEMH needs? Are you nurturing, understanding and resilient? Do you want to feel valued, supported and part of a team? Due to the continued growth of our school, we are looking for new colleagues to join our school community.
Chapel Bridge School is a special school for pupils aged 6 to 19 years, based in a beautifully refurbished campus in the centre of Plymouth. Our creative, individualised approach to learning is centred around well-being and skills for independence. From the time our students arrive, we start thinking about where our students will be moving to after they leave us to ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed.
This is a term time only post, starting at £22,692.00 per annum, increasing to £23,442.00 post probation. We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic learning mentors who are open to learning a modern approach to teaching pupils with social, emotional, mental health needs.
We understand the importance of building meaningful relationships with pupils and families to nurture growth and development of relational milestones such as building trust and sharing enjoyment. Care and making connections are at the heart of our ethos and we work hard to ensure that all staff feel cared for too.
