Key Responsibilities

  • Attend job handover meetings with the Sales Director and relevant Contracts Manager, making notes and completing actions.
  • Place all purchase orders, ensuring the information is recorded on the relevant cost sheet and track orders to delivery on site, keeping contracts managers and sub-contractors updated.
  • Ensure the contract folders are kept up to date at all times and archive completed projects.
  • Review cost sheets with Contracts Managers on a regular basis.
  • Submit Building Regulations applications when required, collate the information and liaise with approved inspectors.
  • Ensure site reports are completed on a daily basis by the Contracts Managers.
  • Generate O&M manuals.
  • Ensure the Contracts Manager has all the relevant documentation to complete job closures.
  • Assist with the monitoring and implementation of the ISO 9001 quality management procedure.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office including TEAMS, Evolution M and project software.
  • Experience of working with databases.
  • Good understanding of job costings.
  • Well organised.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • A professional approach.
  • Construction background preferable.

The Package

  • Salary £15,000 based on 4 hours per day, 5 days a week (20 hours).
  • You will be joining a team of friendly, experienced, positive professionals.
  • Pension scheme after qualifying period.
  • 25 days holiday increasing to 28 days after 7 completed years of service (pro-rata'd).
  • Birthday day off.
  • Company away days.
