System Safety Engineer
Contract, Outside IR35

Leading aerospace / aviation Company are seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer for ongoing project, product development.
The ideal candidate will have a background in whole aircraft systems or other subsystems such as power distribution, avionics, power generation, propulsion.
Experience Required:
- 8+ years Systems and / or systems safety engineering experience
- 8+ years experience working within the aerospace / aviation industry
- Strong working knowledge of Aircraft Safety Assessment including \’doing\’ / conducting the assessments as well as planning & setting out the \’how to\’ do policies / processes , procedures.
- Good knowledge of safety analysis techniques; FHA, FTA and FMEA…
- Knowledge of Reliability prediction techniques
- Knowledge of systems development following ARP4754 (or equivalent standard)
- software or hardware safety, DO254 or DO178
- Knowledge of safety assurance techniques for safety critical products / components
- Nice to have… knowledge of cyber security assessment for aircraft, aviation, aerospace
