You’ve already closed the hard deals. You know how to price for value, not panic. Now you’re ready to own a territory, influence strategy, and operate as a senior commercial voice in a fast-scaling business. This is not a standard Sales Manager role. As Senior Sales Manager, you’ll take full commercial ownership of a high-value London territory in Marylebone - holding accountability for revenue, occupancy, and desk-rate performance across multiple buildings. You’ll operate as the deputy to our Head of Sales, leading complex negotiations, shaping pricing strategy, and raising the bar for the wider sales team. If you’re already operating at senior level in flex / managed office sales and want a role where your judgement, network, and deal craft genuinely matter - this is it.
Responsibilities
- A senior commercial operator. You’ve spent years in flex office / managed workspace sales and are trusted to run a territory, not just chase deals.
- A strategic negotiator. You lead complex, high-value negotiations, protect desk-rate value, and know when (and how) to push for premium outcomes.
- A deputy leader. You’re comfortable stepping in for a Head of Sales - representing the business in senior meetings, broker relationships, and key pitches.
- Market-savvy and commercially sharp. You track competitor movements, pricing shifts, and demand patterns - and turn insight into action.
- A respected mentor. You elevate those around you, sharing best practice in negotiation, broker management, and closing discipline.
Your Focus: Strategic Commercial Ownership & Negotiation
- Own revenue, occupancy, and desk-rate performance across your defined territory.
- Lead and close complex, high-value deals, including those requiring senior-level sign-off.
- Act as deputy for the Head of Sales in internal forums, external pitches, and broker engagements.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
- Conduct deep competitor and pricing analysis, feeding actionable insights into territory strategy.
- Build and maintain senior broker relationships that consistently deliver premium lead flow.
- Partner closely with the Head of Sales on pipeline forecasting, pricing strategy, and inventory management.
Team Influence & Process Uplift
- Mentor and coach Sales Managers, improving negotiation quality and conversion outcomes.
- Lead sales-side onboarding for new sites in your territory, ensuring strong pre-launch performance.
- Raise the commercial standard across the team through influence, not hierarchy.
Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrable long-term experience in flex office / managed workspace sales, operating at senior level.
- Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals at premium desk rates.
- Deep understanding of territory ownership, pricing strategy, and revenue optimisation.
- Advanced negotiation capability with confidence operating at leadership level.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to contribute to strategic sales and revenue discussions.
- Highly proficient with HubSpot and data-led sales reporting.
- Experience mentoring or coaching peers to improved performance.
Success in this role is achieved through:
- Territory revenue and occupancy targets consistently met or exceeded.
- Average desk rates uplifted, particularly on high-value and strategic deals.
- Tangible contribution to pricing strategy, pipeline accuracy, and pre-launch sales success.
- Measurable improvement in negotiation and close rates of Sales Managers you mentor.
