Spacemade is at a tipping point. We are moving from a successful portfolio to a rapidly scaling national network, and we need a Strategic Lead to design the operational engine that powers it. This isn’t just about managing sites; it’s about building the overarching strategy that enables us to open 5+ new locations every year without ever degrading our service quality or commercial rigour.
Your focus
- Design Scalable Systems: Define the long-term operational roadmap and evolve our library of SOPs and digital tools (HubSpot, OfficeRnD, Monday) to support a 50+ site business.
- Master the Portfolio P&L: Maintain ultimate accountability for the Community department budget, optimising spend control within a 95% threshold to protect margins.
- Build the Next Generation of Leaders: Lead, coach, and empower our Senior Community Managers (SCMs), defining the KPI frameworks and succession plans that drive commercial results.
- Guard Statutory Excellence: Uphold 100% rigour across portfolio-wide health and safety (Fire, Water, Lift) and cybersecurity protocols.
- Drive Commercial Outcomes: Partner with SCMs to maximise Member Lifetime Value (LTV) through strategic renewal oversight and yield optimisation.
- Innovate through Technology: Identify and implement SaaS and automation tools to increase efficiency across all departments.
Success is Measured By
- Scalable Foundations: The ability to open 5+ sites annually with zero degradation in service.
- Commercial Optimisation: Implementing a strategy that significantly increases Member Lifetime Value (LTV) and renewal rates.
- Operational Excellence: Achieving a network-wide Brand Standard Audit average that reflects our premium positioning.

- You lead through coaching – you are dedicated to preparing your team for the next step in their careers.
- You are a change agent – you have a proven ability to lead teams through large-scale digital or operational transformations.
