Senior Software Development Engineer in Test At Spacelabs Healthcare , we\’re shaping the future of patient monitoring through innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.We\’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help develop our next-generation, networked monitoring platform—used in hospitals around the world.You\’ll be joining a dedicated R&D team to design and implement robust automated testing solutions for complex, embedded systems. This is a hands-on, technical role with the opportunity to contribute directly to product quality, safety, and patient care.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement automation solutions for enterprise-scale patient monitoring platformsReview and interpret software requirements to build targeted test cases and frameworksCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Software, Systems, Hardware, and Electrical Engineering)Maintain automated test infrastructure in CI/CD pipelinesEnsure deliverables meet compliance and quality standards within a regulated environmentQualificationsBachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering or related field5+ years in software development, including 3+ years in test automationStrong proficiency in Python or similar scripting languagesSolid understanding of Object-Oriented Design , test architecture, and verification methodsHands-on experience with tools like Squish , Selenium , and CI/CD platformsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software practicesExperience with Qt/QML or embedded Linux developmentExposure to regulated industries such as medical, defense, or aerospaceKnowledge of containerized environments, scripting (Bash, PowerShell), or virtual machinesExperience working with global teams across Europe, India, and the USAt Spacelabs, your contributions will directly support critical care systems that save lives.
