Do you have half an hour to spare in the morning or afternoon? Are you the kind of person who naturally looks out for others and loves working as part of a community?
We are currently looking for a dedicated School Crossing Patrol officer in Easingwold who wants to make a real difference to their local community.
The Role
Our school crossing patrols keep children and adults safe on their daily school journeys, providing a vital service to the local community.
Duty times: Monday–Friday 8.10am -8.50am and 15.05 - 15.35 (5.50 hours per week)
Your duties will include:
- Ensure safe road crossing for children and pedestrians during patrol times
- Stop traffic using the official ‘STOP’ sign
- Conduct pre-duty health and safety checks of the crossing site
- Report any hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Patrol Officer
- Wear and maintain approved uniform and equipment
