This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Software Engineering. Based in London, United Kingdom, the role allows for a blend of on-site work and remote flexibility. The Head of Software Engineering will oversee software development workflows, drive architecture decisions, lead and grow our engineering teams, and ensure successful delivery of complex projects aligned with organizational goals. Collaboration with executives and stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives will be key responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Software Development, with experience in designing, coding, testing, and deploying complex software systems
- Strong skills in Team Management and Team Leadership, with a track record of guiding and mentoring engineering teams to drive high performance
- Experience in Project Management, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within scope
- Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and integration of complex systems
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the space or defense industry is a plus
This role requires that the successful candidate be able to get UK security clearance and be a UK citizen.
