We are looking for a motivated physiotherapist with Stroke and/or Neuro experience to join the Stroke team on the stroke unit at Salisbury hospital, assessing and managing a varied caseload including neurological conditions. Professional and specialist supervision is available, and you will work closely with all areas of the MDT.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the Stroke/Neuro rehab service within an acute setting and lead on various elements of the work in this area.
- Collaborate as an effective team member with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Apply clear clinical reasoning and explain decisions in an accessible way.
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional and clinical development.
Person Specification:
Essential:- Minimum of 2 years NHS experience post qualification
- Experience of service development
- Diploma or degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Range of postgraduate experience across core areas in an acute setting
- Experience of working with stroke and/or neurological conditions
- Experience of supervising students
- Experience of qualified staff / unqualified staff
- Evidence of neuro-specific CPD from internal and external courses
