An opportunity has arisen to appoint new people to join our friendly centralised team of reception staff working across a number of different outpatient reception areas within the Surgical Division. We are looking for people who are able to work within a team and with experience of working with the general public in a receptionist role, preferably within a health care environment. The successful applicants will be able to offer flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
Main Duties:
- Work on a busy reception desk, receiving patients as they arrive in clinic.
- Deal with telephone enquiries and manage outpatient bookings.
- Prepare case notes and clinic lists to ensure the smooth running of clinics.

Person Specification:
- Essential: Good keyboard skills, experience in teamworking, English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above (or relevant qualification).
- Desirable: Experience of working as part of a reception team within a health care environment.
