Functional, Reconstructive and Neuro‑Urology Consultant Surgeon Full‑time specialist consultant role at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, dedicated to enhancing functional, reconstructive and neuro‑urology services. Job Summary This substantive consultant position involves delivering specialist out‑patient care, performing procedures such as local‑anesthetic flexible botulinum‑toxin injections, videourodynamics and theatre work. The successful candidate will attend the Neuro‑urology and Pelvic Floor multidisciplinary team meetings, develop service pathways and support the nursing team. Main Duties Attend a 1:7 on‑call rota and manage on‑call duties. Lead out‑patient clinics, including diagnostics (cystoscopy, ultrasound, urodynamics) and outpatient procedures. Perform elective and emergency theatre work. Contribute to MDT meetings and service development. Mentor junior staff and participate in teaching and clinical governance. Qualifications and Experience UK medical or dental medical registration and on the Urology Specialist Register. Minimum six months post‑specialty training for senior trainees. Experience in female and functional urology, urodynamics, and related procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence‑based practice and risk management.
