Receptionist

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our small, friendly team. You will be the first point of contact for SpaceAM, looking after our visitors, callers and deliveries, keeping the front office running smoothly and supporting teams across the business.

What you will do

• Answer and direct phone calls, and take clear messages.
• Welcome visitors, sign them in and out, and let the right person know they have arrived.
• Receive deliveries, check them in and pass them to the right person or area.
• Liaise with all areas of the company, passing on information and requests.
• Keep filing accurate and up to date.
• Order office supplies and keep stock at the right level.
• Support other functions of the business with administrative tasks when needed.

What we are looking for

• A professional appearance. You will be the first point of contact for the business.
• Customer focused, with good commercial awareness.
• Works well with others.
• Willing to learn.
• Excellent timekeeping.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Previous front of house or customer-facing experience.

Security requirements

Because of the nature of our work, the successful candidate must complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks before starting. They must also be eligible for and willing to undergo UK Security Check (SC) clearance. SC clearance normally requires at least five years’ residency in the UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
