Space Student Accommodation is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in delivering an exceptional resident and guest experience, while ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the building. This is a hands-on role focused on operational excellence across both student living and summer short-term lets, with responsibility for duty management and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the property
- Act as Duty Manager, overseeing daily operations and service delivery
- Deliver a consistently high-quality resident and guest experience
- Drive standards across front of house, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination
- Resolve queries and issues quickly, professionally, and with a customer-first approach
- Support summer operations, including short-term lets and building turnaround
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and safety compliance
- Support and guide front line teams to deliver a service-led environment
About You
- Experience in operations, hospitality, or student accommodation
- Strong customer experience focus with high attention to detail
- Confident managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-driven
- Hands-on, approachable, and a strong team player
