About Us
Space is Bermuda's home for commercial and residential furniture, flooring, and window coverings. Formed from the combined expertise of Commercial Office Environments and Furniture Flair, we bring together premium office furniture, contract flooring, and custom residential furnishings under one roof at our showroom on Front Street.
The Role
The Sales & Project Manager is the first point of contact for our customers and A&D representatives, managing the full client experience from the initial inquiry through quotation, ordering, installation, and after sales support.
What You Will Do
- Serve as first point of contact for customers and A&D representatives, managing the client experience from quotation through installation and after sales support
- Coordinate multiple projects at once, building and maintaining schedules that meet client expectations and site deadlines
- Apply standard project management practices including budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders, and documentation
- Monitor project budgets, flag cost or scope changes early, and secure approvals before additional costs are incurred
- Process client orders including purchase orders, shipping logistics, customs clearing, and receiving
- Coordinate in house teams and third party vendors on installations, arranging scaffolding, craning, access equipment, and permits as needed
- Maintain strong product knowledge across our lines and serve as the local contact for our manufacturer partners
- Support showroom walk in sales and share sales floor coverage with the team
What You Bring
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar commercial project management role / contract furniture industry
- Strong computer literacy, including the full Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
- Experience with office furniture, flooring, or space planning software is an asset
