Space & Time are looking for an SEO Strategist with a background in digital PR and content, keen to build further establish their career in SEO. You'll work primarily across content and digital PR projects initially, with a long term view of building out the role to include digital PR strategies, digital PR reporting and improving how digital PR can be done as an Organic Growth team in an advancing AI world. Having content experience is also key in helping with existing projects and business requirements. Having experience in digital PR is key for this role as it will help you coach other members of the team and drive the overall strategy.

Recently evolving from the SEO team to encapsulate more capabilities, we promote innovation to provide the best growth for our clients. We have various specialist areas, and each member of the team is encouraged to pursue and advance the niche within organic that help their development, and to improve the team as a whole. As a team we demonstrate extensive capabilities across technical SEO and content, as well as local SEO. While we have experience in the digital PR space, our intention is to grow this capability further. Our client's performance flourishes best when there is cross-collaboration between us and internal or external departments such as content, developer or PR teams. There is a shared enthusiasm in organic search, believing the future of organic search and not sceptical towards future updates. We never rest on our own pre-determined ideas on what is the correct strategy for search, and continuously push our collective understanding through testing, monitoring results and keep abreast of industry updates.
Responsibilities
- Support Organic Growth Team by conducting end-to-end digital PR campaigns including but not limited to; ideation, feasibility, gaining client sign-off, research, press release and media list creation and outreach.
- Finding and responding to expert comments, sourcing client commentary where relevant.
- Creating and proof-reading content across different SEO clients.
- Managing client relationships from an Organic Growth team perspective to deliver a comprehensive organic strategy to a client (though the work can be completed by others within the team).
- Helping improve any content ways of working with other members of the Organic Growth team that are content focussed.
- Helping with digital PR planning across any clients in the team.
- Work on growing the digital PR offering alongside the Head of Organic Growth to deliver more capabilities and to more clients, whether existing or new.
- Working with client-side PR teams to help manage campaigns.
- Monitoring industry trends and updates and reporting back on insights to your team and the wider agency.
- Working with AI tools to gain an understanding of how we can both integrate AI usage into digital PR and content, but also how to influence digital PR's and contents role within AI.
- Liaising with clients and relationship-building.
- Assisting with the marketing of the department's services, and the agency. This could be through blogging or attending events such as conferences and exhibitions.
Experience / Skills
- Experience managing client relationships.
- Experience in working with multiple different clients and digital PR request/plans.
- A working knowledge of the various parts of SEO.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and present data (desirable).
- Familiar with keyword research SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Keyword Planner etc.
- Knowledge of Search Console & Google Analytics.
- Good Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
- Client facing ability, confident and professional.
- Ability to take responsibility for own work, but also someone who isnβt afraid to ask for help.
- A flexible, adaptable team player with a willingness to pick up tasks for others where needed.
