We are currently recruiting for a Junior Photographer based in Perivale, London.
Role Overview:
As our Junior Photographer, you will be responsible for photographing our e-commerce product pages in our fast-paced studio located in Perivale. Reporting to the creative content photographer and working under the supervision of our lead e-commerce photographer, you\’ll be helping to drive our creative vision, whilst maintaining the highest quality of photographic content.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our Product Coordinators on sample availability to achieve daily product shooting targets.
- Maintain consistency and quality over a high volume of images ensuring true colour matching to product.
- Creating accurate and aesthetic swatches across a variety of products and continually developing/adding to the swatch library.
- Communicating with external retouchers and setting detailed briefs and deadlines aligning with product launches.
- Accurately name and upload digital assets to relevant servers.
- Ensuring consistency of imagery that is in line with our brand.
- Following brand and Space NK product guidelines when shooting. Occasionally reviewing and updating these guidelines with our art directors.
- Continually developing technical photographic and post-production skills to ensure all in-house assets are produced to the highest quality.
- Maintenance and upkeep of the studio, equipment and props.
Skills Required:
- Experience in Capture One and Photoshop. A strong understanding of retouching and colour correction.
- Experience working in an e-commerce photographic studio.
- Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of still-life lighting and basic studio knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills in order to take direction from various stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively manage workloads in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Strong organisation skills.
- Impeccable eye for detail.
- Ability to self-manage workload and multi-task to tight deadlines.
- Must be an adaptable, flexible team player.
