The Digital Design Lead is responsible for delivering best‑in‑class design and innovation across our digital channels. Driving visible change, engagement and performance, this role will shape the way customers experience our brand across web, email and app. Bringing a wealth of experience, energy and smart creativity, you'll lead and upskill a small but very busy team of digital design specialists as our business continues to scale. Reporting to our Head Of Creative & Branding and working alongside the Brand Design and Art Direction Leads, you'll work closely with our digital marketing, CRM and tech teams to help drive out key business and commercial goals. This is a hands‑on design role that requires a passion for driving creative change and a strategic, commercially savvy mindset.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivering best‑in‑class, digital design output across .com, email and app.
- Owning & driving the digital design strategy as part of our wider master brand identity.
- Leading, inspiring and upskilling a small digital design team to support growth and scale.
- Aligning creative output to business objectives and campaign goals.
- Proactively providing digital design solutions that respond to both short‑term and long‑term commercial needs.
- Partnering with Web, App, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance UX/UI and branded digital experiences.
- Elevating our everyday digital marketing communications to stand out in our customer's inbox.
- Bringing newness and creativity to all we do.
- Overseeing workflow, prioritization and end‑to‑end delivery of digital assets ensuring quality and consistency.
- Ensuring the digital design team are using the latest and most innovative creative tools and that AI efficiencies are integrated into the digital design workflow.
Required Skills and Experience
- A proven background in designing high quality digital work with premium brands, preferably within the beauty and fashion sector.
- A solid background in designing for e‑commerce in a busy commercial environment.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern design/prototyping tools; strong working knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
- Strong grasp of performance marketing and data‑informed creative‐understands how creative impacts engagement, conversion, and brand perception.
- Proven experience leading and developing creative teams, including designers at varying levels of skill and seniority.
- A creative but strategic approach to your work, you’ll demonstrate the ability to design for performance and brand.
- A working knowledge of HTML is of benefit to this role.

- The ability to lead, support and inspire a small team of designers and specialists in a fast‑paced environment.
