Role Overview
A key department within Space NK, the marketing department are responsible for creating campaigns that engage current customers and drive new customer acquisition. The department consists of four teams: brand partnerships, brand marketing, content marketing and digital marketing.
We are seeing a highly skilled and dynamic affiliate and partnerships manager to lead our affiliate and creator partnerships channels for Space NK. Reporting to the senior digital marketing manager, working closely with the rest of the marketing department and wider teams across the business from PR and creative, to commercial and finance. The role is responsible for creating and executing our strategies for affiliates (all partner types) and digital partnerships (with a focus on content creator), challenging the norm and identifying opportunities for growth and efficiencies across both UK and international markets. The successful candidate will be a strong problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing tactical needs with strategic solutions for a long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Effectively demonstrate the value of affiliate marketing and digital partnerships activity to the business against key metrics including return on investment.
β Deliver, own and evolve the global affiliate marketing strategy, demonstrating understanding of key business objectives and identifying innovative opportunities for growth across all partner types.
β Manage our affiliate network to deliver, own and evolve a best-in-class affiliate program that delivers against business objectives, including but not limited to recruiting new affiliate partners, engaging and optimising existing affiliate partners, monitoring commission rates, tenancy placements and the affiliate marketing calendar.
β Build and maintain direct relationships with top affiliate partners to ensure strong performance and increase quality Space NK visibility.
β Deliver, own and evolve the global digital partnerships strategy to grow our content creator community and optimise paid activity.
β Own and execute paid content creator planning and calendar, ensuring clear communication with relevant teams across the business including PR, commercial
β Lead affiliate marketing and digital partnerships projects, ensuring that activity goes live in line with planned launch dates, performance is reviewed and optimisations made.
β Working with the wider team to execute and enhance a best-in-class influencer marketing service offering, including insight/analytics, innovation, social trend, tools, platforms and campaign measurement.
β Full ownership of the affiliate and digital partnerships budgets ensuring invoices are paid and budgets are reconciled monthly.
β Forecast and report against business and channel objectives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
β Lead, manage and develop the affiliate and partnerships team (directly line manage 1 team member, 4 additional team members).
β Keep up to date with affiliate and partnership industry news, new publishers and tech, ensuring attendance at industry networking events to inform strategy.
Qualification, Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of 5 years\β experience in affiliate marketing with expert understanding of the affiliate landscape and publishers and networks, including working with content creators through an affiliate model.
β Experience managing a large affiliate network e.g. AWIN.
β Proven experience developing and implementing a global affiliate strategy and delivering channel KPIs.
β Technically proficient with good understanding of fraud prevention, payments and promotion code tracking, through close collaboration with tracking experts, commercial and legal team.
β Experience working with influencer networks (such as LTK) and directly with influencer agents.
β Highly commercial and analytical, demonstrating excellent use of data to analyse performance and make decisions.
β Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively to all levels of the business and manage external stakeholders.
