Space Forge is a fast-growing advanced materials company. Our goal is to exploit the extreme temperature, microgravity and ultra-high vacuum conditions available in low earth orbit (LEO) to manufacture materials that cannot readily be grown terrestrially. Returning these materials to earth, we aim to revolutionise the semiconductor market and to make space work for humanity. To achieve this we are developing the world’s first returnable and reusable satellite platform, the ForgeStar®.
As Personal Assistant (PA) to the CEO you will play a crucial role by providing high-level, confidential administrative and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer and as required, supporting members of the Executive Leadership Team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth running of executive operations, enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities. This role is part time, working 24 hours, 3 days per week. You will be expected to work in our Cardiff office a minimum of 1 day per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level, confidential administrative and operational support to the CEO, acting as a trusted point of contact
- Manage complex diaries, meetings, travel, correspondence, and communications for the CEO
- Prepare executive materials including agendas, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes
- Support members of the Executive Team as required, including meeting coordination, travel and document preparation
- Coordinate leadership meetings, projects, and events, ensuring effective follow-up and delivery
- Coordinate and assist in special projects or ad hoc tasks as required
Essential
- Proven experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or a similar role supporting senior leadership
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced scale-up environment
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously while being an effective team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Experience supporting a CEO or C-suite executives
- Previous experience in the space industry or with technical/engineering projects is a plus

Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (full time equivalent), depending on knowledge, experience and skills.
