What You'll Be Doing
- Researching and reverse engineering Android malware - conducting static and dynamic analysis to understand malicious behaviour at a low level
- Detecting and documenting emerging threats, attack vectors, and trends across the Android ecosystem
- Writing detection rules and building automation processes for malware identification
- Documenting findings and contributing to threat intelligence reports, sharing knowledge across the team
What We're Looking For
Experience (Core Requirement)
- At least 3 years of proven experience in Android/Windows/Mac/Linux research, or low-level reverse engineering or development
- Hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools and decompilers
- Familiarity with instrumentation tools like Frida, or debugging tools such as GDB or LLDB
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols
Nice to Have
- Experience with Android development or familiarity with Android frameworks
- Understanding of Android application security and the broader Android malware ecosystem
- Experience building automated analysis tools
