This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, with full ownership of marketing’s contribution to revenue.
The Role
This is not a traditional brand-led position. You will be responsible for building and owning the entire marketing engine, with a clear focus on pipeline generation, positioning, and growth. Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline and Demand Generation (Core Focus)

- Scale demand generation across LinkedIn (organic and paid), outbound, inbound content, and events
- Improve funnel performance including conversion, lead quality, and cost per acquisition
- Implement clear attribution and reporting across the full funnel
- Positioning and Messaging
- Define and evolve category narrative and differentiation
- Develop compelling messaging for HR and senior business audiences
- Strengthen positioning against incumbents and emerging AI-led tools
- Ensure consistency across all touchpoints
- Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Own and execute the marketing strategy aligned to revenue goals
- Identify growth opportunities across sectors, ICPs, and geographies
- Balance short-term pipeline generation with longer-term brand development
- Lead and manage a small team along with external partners
- Content, Brand and Digital
- Own content strategy including thought leadership, customer stories, and insight-led reports
- Translate product and data into commercially impactful content
- Optimise website and landing pages for conversion
- Continuously test and improve digital performance
- Sales Enablement and Product Marketing
- Create high-impact sales collateral and enablement materials
- Partner with Product on positioning and go-to-market activity
- Support feature launches and improve win rates
- Events and Marketing Operations
- Own strategy and execution of industry events
- Manage marketing tech stack such as HubSpot and automation tools
- Build scalable systems for lead generation, nurturing, and reporting
What They’re Looking For
- 5 to 10+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally within HR tech or a related sector
- Proven track record of owning and delivering pipeline growth
- Strong demand generation and funnel optimisation expertise
- Experience working closely with sales teams in a revenue-driven environment
- Hands-on experience with tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Ads, and analytics platforms
