We are looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to help shape the reliability, scalability, and security of a fast-growing, cloud-native platform in the financial services space. You will play a key role in automating infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD pipelines, and enabling engineering teams to deploy safely and confidently.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and modern CI/CD pipelines, while helping define best practices for a regulated, high-impact platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Infrastructure & Automation: Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement automated security controls and policies across cloud environments and deployments.
  • Cloud & Kubernetes Expertise: Harden and manage GCP environments and Kubernetes clusters, including IAM, network policies, and secrets management.
  • Vulnerability Management: Automate detection, triage, and remediation of infrastructure and application vulnerabilities.
  • Developer Enablement: Provide reusable templates and tooling to help teams deploy quickly and securely.
  • Incident Response: Contribute to operational and security incident handling to minimize downtime and risk.

What You Bring

  • Strong experience designing, managing, and securing high-availability cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
  • Expertise with Kubernetes (GKE), container runtime security, and cluster hardening.
  • Solid skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Hands-on experience with security tooling (Aqua, Falco, Prisma Cloud, or similar).
  • Programming or scripting experience in Python, Golang, or Shell for automation tasks.
  • Strong understanding of API security, IAM policies, network security, and secrets management.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in regulated fintech or compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, DORA).
  • Certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer, CKS, or CISSP.
