As we scale our business and prepare for accelerated product-led growth, we are looking for a proactive and experienced individual to take on a hybrid role that bridges project management and business analysis. Our immediate strategic focus is to extend our existing Open Banking PIS and AIS infrastructure to offer payment and settlement services. As a result of moving into the money flow and being EMI regulated, we will deliver and enhance a number of internal tools and platforms that support robust and efficient operation of the business.

We are looking for a dynamic, personable individual who can help design and implement the technology foundation that enables automation across client onboarding, FRAML, Regulatory Compliance, and Treasury Management. You will be experienced in designing solutions for financial services products in a fast-moving environment and have exposure to products and tools used to manage Risk and Compliance, Business Operations, and Treasury Management. You are highly collaborative and solutions-focused, comfortable designing and implementing technology frameworks to support effective business operations across multiple functions.

You communicate effectively to promote an environment that truly understands the business and the benefits of effective operational excellence. You are results-oriented and energised by change, helping to foster a collaborative and fun "can do" mindset across the teams you support.

Requirements

The key individual will work to deliver in the business the following:

  • Leading partner engagements relating to RFPs
  • Working with internal stakeholders to clearly define and document business requirements and outcomes
  • Engaging with engineering to define technical deliverables, integration timelines, and release management
  • Managing the delivery and implementation of new tools, platforms, policy, and process
  • Systems mapping/visualisation to show how different tools, modules & platforms relate and operate
  • Process Mapping of end-to-end User Experience
  • Displaying cross-functional leadership, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Operations, and Legal/Compliance teams to deliver optimal business workflows while ensuring business efficiency and risk management
  • Negotiating with vendors on contracts and costings
  • Communicating and embedding new processes and policies into the business

This list is not exhaustive, and there may be other tasks that we ask you to be involved in from time to time. Above all, you are flexible and want to add value wherever you can. You understand that in a start-up, priorities change and we all need to be adaptable. You will be comfortable when asked to input and lead in other areas, and you'll be comfortable being a self-starter and instigating changes yourself.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar delivery role, preferably in a fast-paced fintech environment
  • Strong Stakeholder Management
  • Good understanding of Data Privacy & GDPR
  • Experience in Business Operations, Risk & Compliance or Sales Enablement
  • EMI regulatory experience would be preferable
  • Prince 2 skills in managing multiple deliverables
  • Good understanding of financial crime control framework, specifically, KYB workflows, fraud, and case management
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders and report at board level deliverables
For Your New Role

You are a people-focused leader. You've got a great team, and you will be warm, honest, and genuine in how you lead. You love innovation — it's wired into your DNA. You have exceptionally high integrity, treating all interactions with confidentiality, sensitivity, and diplomacy. You're commercially minded, understanding how effective risk management and regulatory compliance can positively impact our products, services, and wider business.

You think outside of the box and are pragmatic, bringing in and iterating on the experience, skills, and knowledge of best practices that you have seen elsewhere. You are always looking for better and cost-effective ways to do things. You have aligned experience, having worked in a fast-paced financial services environment before. You have designed, automated, operationalised, and right-sized processes to ensure effective risk management and regulatory compliance.

You are driven and curious, asking questions and striving to understand. You understand that your stakeholders will have different strengths, and you're happy to learn from them and share your expertise.
