A fast‑growing, private‑equity backed payments and FX business is expanding its commercial capabilities and is hiring a Bid Manager to strengthen deal governance and proposal execution across the UK and broader European markets. The company provides cross‑border payments, FX execution, and treasury solutions to corporate, institutional, and financial intermediary customers, supported by strong technology, compliance rigour, and a scale‑up mindset.
The Bid Manager will be responsible for owning and managing end‑to‑end bid, tender, and complex deal processes across multiple products and customer segments. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Pricing, Product, Legal, Finance, and Executive Leadership, this role will play a critical part in improving win rates, commercial consistency, and execution quality on strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage end‑to‑end bid, RFP, and tender processes for FX, payments, treasury products, and value‑added services.
- Act as the central point of coordination for complex and high‑value opportunities, managing inputs from Sales, Pricing, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
- Ensure bids are compliant, commercially robust, and aligned to internal approval, discounting, and governance frameworks.
- Partner with Pricing and Sales to structure competitive, consistent, and well‑documented commercial proposals.
- Improve bid governance, qualification processes, templates, and response workflows to increase efficiency and win rates.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across proposals, contracts, and commercial documentation.
- Track bid performance, outcomes, and success metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- 3+ years’ experience in bid management, proposals, commercial operations, or deal governance.
- Background in payments, FX, banking, FinTech, or regulated financial services strongly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating cross‑functional teams under time pressure.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple complex bids concurrently.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑scaling, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluency in English required.
