Job Details:

  • Hours of work: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Role Purpose:

Support Space Engineering Services / Orwell Design Associates in project design work for retail, commercial, and industrial clients within the building services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in producing high-quality design packages for clients
  • Design specification and coordination of mechanical building services (HVAC and Plumbing)
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and regulations
  • Plant selection and sizing
  • Pipework and ductwork sizing according to latest regulations
  • Use thermal analysis software for heat calculations
  • Participate in meetings and site surveys

Candidate Requirements:

  • HNC in Building Services or related qualification
  • Strong work ethic, self-reliant, motivated, and enthusiastic
