Salary is in line with Real Living Wage + discretionary bonus + benefits. This role can be based at any of our offices - London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Reigate.
Space & Time are looking for either a full-time SEO Executive keen to build a career in SEO or an experienced SEO Strategist for 4 days a week. You’ll work across all elements of SEO campaigns from content creation and strategy, technical optimisation, digital PR and local search. You’ll be learning not just from the SEO department but from the entire digital team as part of omni-channel strategy. Recently evolving from the SEO team to encapsulate more capabilities, we promote innovation to provide the best growth for our clients. We have various specialist areas, and each member of the team is encouraged to pursue and advance the niche within organic that help their development, and to improve the team as a whole. Our client’s performance flourishes best when there is cross-collaboration between us and internal or external departments such as content, developer or PR teams. We never rest on our own pre-determined ideas on what is the correct strategy for search, and continuously push our collective understanding through testing, monitoring results and keep abreast of industry updates.
SEO Executive Responsibilities
- Support Organic Growth Team by conducting keyword research, on-page optimisation, content creation and audits, digital PR activities, competitor analysis, local SEO, technical SEO, reporting and Generative Engine Optimisation (AI Optimisation).
- Finding and responding to expert comments, sourcing client commentary where relevant.
- Creating and proof-reading content across different SEO clients.
- Creating and auditing Google Business Profile listings and setting up ‘Citations’ for client locations.
- Working with AI tools to gain an understanding of how we can both integrate AI usage into digital PR and content, but also how to influence digital PR’s and contents role within AI.
- Monitoring industry trends and updates and reporting back on insights to your team and the wider agency.
- Assisting with the marketing of the departments’ services, and the agency. This could be through managing the agencies’ own inbound marketing and SEO, or through blogging or attending events such as conferences and exhibitions.
SEO Strategist Responsibilities
- As above and including managing client relationships from an Organic Growth team perspective to deliver a comprehensive organic strategy to a client.
- Assisting with digital PR planning across any clients in the team.
- Work on growing the digital PR offering alongside the Head of Organic Growth to deliver more capabilities and to more clients, whether existing or new.
- Working with client-side PR teams to help manage campaigns.
- Liaising with clients and relationship-building.
Experience / Skills
- A working knowledge of the various parts of SEO.
- Copywriting / SEO content production skills.
- Existing digital PR capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and present data (desirable).
- Familiar with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Keyword Planner etc.
- Knowledge of Search Console & Google Analytics.
- Local search experience (desirable).
- Good Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
- Client facing ability, confident and professional.
- Ability to take responsibility for own work, but also someone who isn’t afraid to ask for help.
- A flexible, adaptable team player with a willingness to pick up tasks for others where needed.
