The AI Performance Strategist holds overall responsibility for their selected clients’ digital strategy and performance. They ensure all paid channel-specific deliverables are met and that client outcomes are achieved, taking ultimate accountability for the success of the paid media strategy.
The focus of the role is outward – on client success – while also guiding the immediate team’s execution of strategies to meet those client objectives. The Performance Strategist is accountable for their team’s results, with key KPIs including client satisfaction scores, campaign performance metrics, revenue vs. targets, and growth of client accounts under their management.
You will be responsible for the preparation, activation, optimisation, and performance analysis for your allocated accounts, as well as helping to identify best practice ways of working for the team. You will need to deliver regular reports and actionable insight to both clients and internal stakeholders, showing campaign results, and offering suggestions for continued improvement. This is a leadership role, and a key component will be training, inspiring others and being a confident presenter. It is worth noting this role will sit in a team of other Performance Strategists who will be responsible for their own client set.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of planning and executing successful campaigns across multiple channels and industries.
- Previous management experience is highly desirable, and you should be able to communicate with diplomacy at all times.
- A strong passion for all forms of digital paid media is essential, relishing the prospect of working across multiple accounts and platforms within a fast-paced agency environment.
Role Management
- You will be responsible for the implementation of processes and best practice ways of working, in order to deliver excellent client service and increase efficiencies within the team.
- Support the Head of Paid (Ops) with the rollout of new products and technology solutions.
- You will be responsible and accountable for reviewing all account activity and seeking areas of improvement, helping to train and nurture more junior members of the team.
- You will oversee daily project management and team operations, ensuring processes are followed and work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. the Account Director referred to as Client Partner Lead (CPL) and client pod (your team of media specialists)) to keep projects on track and running smoothly.
