Audit Manager.
This highly-motivated and dynamic Accountancy Practice was established over 50 years ago and thrives today with a 3000 strong client base covering all of the UK.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, companies, charities and other clients, you will act as the primary point of contact, providing proactive support and advice.
- Plan, manage and review audit assignments
- Review statutory accounts prepared under relevant UK accounting frameworks.
- Monitor portfolio profitability, work-in-progress and billing.
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients.
What are we looking for?
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Approximately 4-5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts and tax compliance.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Audit experience, including planning and reviewing audit assignments.
- Experience supervising and developing staff.
