At Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa, part of the Kaleidoscope Collection, we're looking for an ambitious and passionate Spa Duty Manager to join our award‑winning spa team. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Therapist or Lead Therapist who is ready to move into management while remaining hands‑on with treatments and guest care.

As Spa Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in the daily operation of the spa, supporting the Spa Director and Spa Assistant Manager, leading the team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and helping to drive the commercial success of the business. You'll also have the opportunity to continue performing treatments and stay connected to the part of the industry you love.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of a luxury spa environment
  • Leading and motivating therapists, spa assistants and reception teams
  • Delivering treatments when required and maintaining exceptional standards
  • Managing guest journeys and ensuring outstanding service at every touchpoint
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and team development
  • Monitoring bookings, diary management and spa performance
  • Assisting with stock control, hygiene standards and facility presentation
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
  • Taking ownership of Duty Management shifts and leading the operation in the absence of senior management
  • Working closely with other hotel departments to deliver memorable guest experiences

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Spa Therapist with recognised industry qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Senior Therapist, Lead Therapist or Spa Supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of spa operations and luxury guest service
  • A natural leader who enjoys coaching and developing others
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and confidence promoting treatments and retail products
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ambition to progress into a long‑term spa management career
