We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and be committed to providing exceptional therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform customised massage treatments based on client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and sports massage techniques.
- Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and any client feedback for future reference.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable follow-up therapies if necessary.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and client privacy at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role within a wellness or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically to clients' needs.
- Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.
