The Smart Interventions Project Coordinator is responsible for providing technical and operational expertise to identify, manage, and resolve B11 Fused Neutral notifications that obstruct the installation of Smart Meters. Working closely with the Smart Interventions Team, Project Engineers, and Framework Partners, the role is focused on driving the resolution of outstanding B11 cases through the effective coordination of site investigations, service disconnections, cut‑out replacements, and associated network activities. The coordinator will ensure timely progression of cases, maintain stakeholder engagement, and support the successful delivery of smart metering objectives while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide technical and operational support to identify and resolve B11 Fused Neutral notifications affecting Smart Meter installations.
  • Manage assigned B11 cases throughout the lifespan including, coordinating site investigations, service disconnections, cut‑out replacements, and associated network activities.
  • Collaborate with the Smart Interventions Team, Project Engineers, Smart Metering teams, and Framework Partners to drive timely case resolution.
  • Coordinate project delivery activities, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with OFGEM, HSE, and company requirements.
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of intervention and investment works.
  • Monitor case progress, manage risks and issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and an improved customer experience.
  • Coordinate and manage B11 Fused Neutral cases from receipt through to completion.
  • Ensure solutions comply with company standards and all applicable OFGEM, HSE, and statutory requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate site investigations, disconnections, cut‑out replacements, and associated network activities.
  • Liaise with customers, contractors, framework partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely case resolution.
  • Monitor progress, risks, and costs to support delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation and system updates.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to audits, team meetings, and business objectives.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and effectively manage customer enquiries and complaints.

What you’ll bring

  • Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures, and operational practices.
  • Good understanding of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including OFGEM and HSE obligations.
  • Knowledge of electricity distribution networks, network operations, and associated standards.
  • Strong customer service, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyse information, assess risks, and develop practical solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Energy Networks business IT systems.
  • Ability to learn and utilise SAP for purchase orders, material requisitions, and scheme management.
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders, contractors, and workstreams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MOCOPA requirements and standards is desirable.

Minimum Criteria

  • Previous experience in a relevant area such as the delivery of customer funded works or SPEN investment projects.
  • Computer literacy – e.g. Microsoft Office suite.
  • Working knowledge of company Health & Safety requirements and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.
